July'17 #dothefuture

This month, instead of sharing with you what we liked most about what we’ve seen, heard, read or clicked on, we’ll show you some buildings that should appear in the list of best tourist destinations.

The abstract pattern on the facade of the Library of the University of Cottbus (Germany) is composed of characters from different alphabets that can only be distinguished from a certain distance. Virtual applause for the idea.

If you look for us in a few years, we recommend starting with the Nursing Home Aires Mateus (Portugal). We already imagine ourselves playing domino surrounded by its white and minimalist walls.

It could be the mothership of some recently landed aliens, but it’s the world’s first private Spaceport (United States). Definitely, is well worth a visit.

The Porta Fira Tower (Spain) on the left is a hotel designed with an organic shape that changes as you go around it. We could be hours and hours spinning around to see what figures we discover. Who wants to go to the beach now?

We’re fascinated by the triangular shape of the Leyweg Municipal Office (Netherlands). It may be because it reminds us of our Atom’s eyelets, a sign that the architect and us have good taste ;-)

See you with more inspiration next month.
We say bye with the emoji Whatsapp that says bye.
The inspiration-busters of Muroexe.

This is everything, or almost everything, that we have experienced in the last month.

A few weeks ago, illustrator Ricardo Cavolo customized our Atom Eternal shoes inspired by hotel W Barcelona in order to create a limited edition full of its colourful icons. They were sold out straight away, so, if you got a pair, get it out of the showcase and make sure they walk on the street ;-)

Endless thanks. Three weeks ago we opened our first Official Store (Fuencarral street, 67 – Madrid), and since then, nearly 1,000 pairs have been sold. If you haven’t yet visit us, we’re waiting for you.

We like simple things. Clearing away superfluous things and leaving only essentials isn’t as easy as it seems. That’s why we’ve made a plea in favor of minimalism that you can’t miss. Read more about it here.

We’re developing a sandals collection and some weeks ago we sent some of you a questionnaire to know your opinion about the prototype. We received hundreds of congratulations and we know that many of you wished to wear them this summer, but we will have to wait until next year to implement your feedback and overcome ourselves even more. Until then, stay tuned because we have big surprises waiting for you that you don’t even figure out. Bets are allowed.

Here's this month's playlist. Exposure can produce unusual physical and mental responses that will slowly disappear with the last chord. Press play and check it out!
